Vocalist “Mr. Mar” born, Jamar Hardiman in Madison County, quickly adapted to Jackson Tennessee’s eastside of town in the early 80s. By the the late 80s moving on to Royal Arms, his lifestyle begin to ‘teenage’ quickly at such a young age forming what is now known as ‘BackWood’, with a few childhood friends. Moving on up north to Pontiac,Mi at the beginning of the 90s, him and his brother ‘Moleone’ begin pursuing music. “We had a lil boombox wit a two-sided cassette player and put paper at the top of one tape, put it on the recording side, then have a Too Short instrumental or some, put it on the other side, plug up our lil mic n go in!”. Shortly after, Mr. Mar was incarcerated for a shooting and had to serve a few years behind bars. After release, he moved back south to Tennessee then on to Atlanta where he Co-Exucutive produced an album called “Slab Ridaz”. Making a small success off that via stores/internet, he then begin touring around with 8ball&Mjg,South Circle, and Lil Flip. He put out his first solo project after his cousin/partner “Hollywood” passed away named, “Me So Fly”. And with success from that project, he met Rick Ross in 2008 and begin doing business with Maybach Music Group. Currently promoting single “Small Change” Ft. Ricky Rozay & Mjg, he is going on the MMG tour starting November 2, 2012.
