Christopher Lylez is a pre-destined forthcoming music artist, model, musician and actor. Chris is preparing to launch a full-force career in the music industry. With an expectation to be a success and create fame imminent, the exciting, newfangled sound that he has made his own is certain to gain interest from across the world, much to the excitement of his already sizeable team of fans.
The development of his exclusive style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Chris was always surrounded by different forms of music. Exposed to a wealth of music from birth, this allowed Christopher to expand his horizons in the music and arts field, all of which continues to influence his musical maturity.
Christopher’s musical journey did not begin suddenly, however. Reared in Philadelphia, it was here that he developed his tuneful talents and interest in performing arts; it wasn’t long after that he was experimenting with local talent, from dance crews, to stage plays, to ensembles.
After realizing that making music was his main goal, he began to showcase his talent in various venues across Baltimore, performing at numerous gigs and singing with his Alma Mater’s Choir The University of Maryland across the world in places such as Paris, France, Barbados, and Germany.
As his confidence grew and his style developed, He made his way back to Philly where he soon saw a loyal following begin to grow and he became a popular local hit in the Tri-State Area music scene. Performing back-up dance behind major artist such as Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Jazmine Sullivan, Flo’ Rida and others. In local plays such as Rent, Motown & Mo his talent seen with a twist started to find an appreciative audience.
He is keen to point out that everything he listens to directs his musical development and career in some way. However, he would certainly include Sam Cook, Ray Charles, John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder and music business entrepreneurs such as Russell Simmons, Jay-Z, and Will Smith amongst his biggest influences.
